Camiguin
Island is blessed with the availability of local big-game
fishing opportunities. Giant Trevally (Mamsa), Barracuda,
and Wahoo (Tanigue) are found year-round. Sailfish
can be spotted from March to June and Tuna from
July to October. Typical weights for the fish in our area
are:

FESTIVALS
AND PARADES
Camiguin
hosts a number of parades and festivals throughout the year.
The most famous is the Lanzones
Festival held every October. Lanzones are a famous
local fruit which grow on the trees facing our magnicent mountain
slopes. Other festivals include San
Juan in June and
Panaad
(Holy Week) every Easter in April.
